# Revenue Sharing Model

Maple keeps fees straightforward. Most fees remain inside the pool to benefit the participants. The only exception is the project fee charged on withdrawals, which is split between the creator and the Maple treasury.

#### Who gets what <a href="#who-gets-what" id="who-gets-what"></a>

* **Deposit fee** → stays in the pool (benefits all participants)
* **Withdrawal fee** → stays in the pool
* **Project fee (on withdraw)** → **50% to the creator** + **50% to the Maple treasury**
* **Cool-down / fast-exit penalty** → stays in the pool

#### How the sharing works <a href="#how-the-sharing-works" id="how-the-sharing-works"></a>

* **Project fee rate** is set per pool (in bps).
* **On each withdraw:** Project fee amount = Withdraw amount × Project fee rate Creator share = 50% of project fee Treasury share = 50% of project fee

> Example below uses a **1% project fee**. That means the **creator earns 0.5%** of the eligible withdraw volume (and the treasury earns the other 0.5%).

#### Quick examples (creator share, 1% project fee) <a href="#quick-examples-creator-share-1-project-fee" id="quick-examples-creator-share-1-project-fee"></a>

* **$10,000 daily withdraw volume** → **$50 / day** to creator
* **$100,000 daily withdraw volume** → **$500 / day** to creator
* **$1,000,000 daily withdraw volume** → **$5,000 / day** to creator

**Full breakdown (same examples)**

| $10,000    | $100    | **$50**    | $50    |
| ---------- | ------- | ---------- | ------ |
| $100,000   | $1,000  | **$500**   | $500   |
| $1,000,000 | $10,000 | **$5,000** | $5,000 |

#### Why this is nice <a href="#why-this-is-nice" id="why-this-is-nice"></a>

* **Aligned incentives:** creators are rewarded when pools are active.
* **Transparent:** the rate is on-chain, and the split is fixed at **50/50**.
* **Scales with usage:** more legitimate withdraw volume → more creator revenue.

> Notes: These figures are **illustrative**. Actual results depend on each pool’s configured project fee and real withdraw volume.
